Responsibilities
- Conduct vessel condition/suitability and pre-vetting surveys and ensure compliance with client/ADNOC requirements.
- Follow up vessel preparations, close-out observations, and conduct on-hire spot checks.
- Investigate marine incidents/accidents and monitor corrective actions.
- Review marine personnel competency certificates/COCs and vessel class/statutory certificates.
- Review subcontractors’ Marine Management Systems for safe and environmentally compliance.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in similar roles/industries, preferably with ADNOC Abu Dhabi.
- Valid Master Mariner Class 1 – Unlimited
- Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (COC).
- Limited Master’s License may be considered for candidates with extensive ADNOC field and project vessel experience.
- Strong knowledge of STCW, ISM, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, flag-state and client requirements.
