Scope of Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the Field Engineering function supporting Operations & Maintenance activities across all  disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation & Control.
• Act as the focal point between Operations, Maintenance, Integrity, Projects and Technical Authorities to ensure  safe and efficient facility operation.
• Be visible and demonstrate leadership by consistently promoting safe work practices and operational excellence.
• Actively participate in site safety programs including Safety Walks, Risk Assessments, Permit to Work (PTW),  Incident Investigation and Safety Observation processes.
• Ensure engineering support is effectively delivered to maintain asset integrity, equipment reliability and  production availability.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance for troubleshooting, performance improvement and problem solving  across operating facilities.
• Lead engineering assessments and recommend solutions to improve plant reliability, operability and  maintainability.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering support during planned shutdowns, start-ups, major maintenance  campaigns and critical operational events.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, international codes and industry best practices.
• Review and approve engineering studies, technical reports, calculations, modifications and Management of  Change (MOC) documentation.
• Monitor equipment performance and reliability trends, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement  and cost optimization.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented and tracked to  closure.
• Support Asset Integrity Management programs including inspection, maintenance and risk-based assessments.
• Interface with vendors, OEMs, contractors and specialist service providers to resolve technical issues and  optimize asset performance.
• Support annual budgeting processes and provide technical input for OPEX and CAPEX planning.
• Develop and mentor engineering personnel while promoting knowledge sharing and competency development.
• Prepare and present technical reports, performance metrics and management updates as required.

Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of Oil & Gas experience, including significant exposure to Operations & Maintenance environments.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or management role within Engineering or Maintenance organizations.
• Strong understanding of Asset Integrity Management principles.
• Experience with maintenance and reliability programs including preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance.

• Proven experience supporting brownfield operating facilities.
• Working knowledge of relevant international standards including API, ASME, IEC and ISO requirements.
• Experience with Management of Change (MOC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Risk Assessment processes.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems such as SAP PM, Maximo or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with international operators, EPC contractors or major service providers is preferred.

Communication:
• Excellent communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
• English language proficiency is mandatory.
• Arabic language capability is considered advantageous.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management, operations personnel, clients and external stakeholders.
