Project Handover Support

  • Compile and deliver final handover dossiers in line with project delivery schedules
  • Ensure documentation is complete for commissioning, operations, and maintenance teams
  • Support the transition of documentation into asset management systems

Key Deliverables

  • Complete and approved As-Built Document Packages
  • Document status and progress reporting
  • Handover dossiers (electronic and/or physical as required)
  • Compliance with project document control KPIs

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller within oil & gas, energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Familiar with a good understanding of Engineering Deliverables as well as Systems/Subsystems during Fabrication, Mechanical Completion (MC1), Commissioning (SC) and Handover.
  • Strong experience managing as-built documentation and handover packages
  • Proficiency in EDMS platforms (e.g., GAIA, SharePoint, EDMS tools)
  • Excellent knowledge of document control procedures, workflows, and QA/QC requirements
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience on carbon capture, power generation, or decarbonisation projects
  • Familiarity with UK regulatory or major EPC project environments

  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Relevant document control certifications (e.g., MDI, Aconex certification) advantageous

Personal Attributes

  • Detail-driven with a commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Proactive and able to work independently within a fast-paced project environment
