To ensure safe and efficient plate rolling operations while maintaining product quality, production targets, and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate plate rolling machines for fabrication activities.
- Perform rolling operations for cylindrical, conical, and curved components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Monitor rolling accuracy, dimensions, and material quality.
- Perform basic machine inspections and routine maintenance.
- Ensure all activities comply with company HSE and quality standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to meet project schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating plate rolling machines, preferably in heavy plate fabrication.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, pressure vessel, or structural fabrication will be an advantage.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and fabrication documents.
- Good knowledge of metal forming processes and material properties.
- Familiar with machine operation, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
