Responsibilities
General - Asset Management Ensure asset tracking system is utilized in order to maintain real-time asset inventories. Intercompany interface for asset and technical support. Liaisons, trains, mentors, assists and provides guidance to area staff, and groups on matters related to myAssets system and inventory processes. Provide technical support to Marketing, Purchasing and Operations Departments. Assist in methods and systems to deplete surplus inventory and obsolete inventory. Position requires coordination and cooperation with areas and Houston operations staff, Houston support staff, Nabors Corporate Services groups, vendors, and freight forwarders. Travel abroad to perform inventory training and inventory audits when required. Fine tune policies and procedures with Asset Manager in relation to asset management. Interact with IT to modify the asset system. Any other duties as assigned ii. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervises and responsible for the direction, training, and review of Asset Supply Chain teams located in responsible district/area/country. Manage Asset Management program. Manage physical inventories as required by corporate policy.
Qualifications
5-10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of asset control. Knowledge of oilfield equipment a plus. Knowledge of RFID a plus Bachelor's Degree. Computer proficiency in current versions of Windows, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively deal with problems under pressure. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical, written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to travel international to any of our operating countries.
