Senior Resident Engineer - Civil & Structural
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Resident Engineers (REs) and Resident Technical Officers (RTOs) on site.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with LTA, BCA, and project requirements.
- Review method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Coordinate with the Client, Contractor, Qualified Persons (QP), and project stakeholders on site matters.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential technical or construction issues.
- Ensure proper implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.
- Verify and certify completed works, inspections, and testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare site reports, non-conformance reports, and other project documentation as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering recognized by PE Board Singapore.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in supervision of MRT, rail, tunnel, viaduct, or major infrastructure projects.
- Registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer Civil & Structural
- Familiar with LTA specifications, construction practices, and project procedures.
- Strong knowledge of construction supervision, quality management, and safety requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
